Please note: Montenegro has introduced a seasonal visa-free regime for citizens of Armenia to enter the country for the period from May 01 to October 31, 2024, for a stay of up to 30 days.
Keep in mind that even a visa is not required, you ought to:
Have a passport valid for at least six months after the day of departure from the country, and contain of at least one blank page for a visa;
Save confirmation of direct and return flights;
Save all documents needed for the next travel destination;
Have all documents confirming the purpose of the travel (e.g., conference registration, cover letter, etc.);
Save confirmation of the availability of sufficient funds in accordance to the planned length of stay;
If you are willing to extend your stay in Montenegro, you will need to obtain a temporary residence permit from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro not later than the end of the 90-day period.
You will also need to obtain an insurance policy for the entire stay.
The travel insurance has to comply with the following requirements:
A minimum coverage of 30 000 Euros;
Has to cover all expense for evacuation, repatriation or treatment;
Short-term visa (C)
If you do not have the right for a visa-free entry to Montenegro, you may obtain a short-term type C visa for a short period of time. Short-term visa for Montenegro can be issued for a single, double or multiple entries to the country with touristic, business, private or other purposes. Continuous stay or the overall amount of time spent in the country should not exceed 90 days in the span of 6 months starting from the day of first entry.
What is the validity period of the type C visa?
Validity period for multiple entry visa is up to one year. As an exception, this type of visa can be issued for a longer period of validity, but not more than five years. A short-term visa can be issued to a group of foreigners (collective visa). The term of validity of a collective visa cannot exceed 30 days, it can be inserted into a group passport.

Confirmation of professional status: Evidence of employment

There are two types of Montenegrin transit visas:
Transit visa type B
A Montenegrin transit visa (type B) can be issued for one, two or, in exceptional cases, for several transits through the territory of Montenegro with a validity period of up to 6 months. On the basis of a transit visa, a foreigner can stay in Montenegro for up to 5 days during each trip. A transit visa can be issued to a foreigner if he/she has secured entry to the country to which he/she is traveling. This visa can be individual or collective.
Airport transit visa type A
A transit visa to the airport of Montenegro (A) can be issued to a foreigner for one or more transits through the international transit zone of the airport, between international flights, without entering the territory of Montenegro, with a validity period of up to 3 months. As a general rule, a foreigner who does not have to leave the international transit zone between flights at the airport of Montenegro or on international flights does not need a visa. The Government of Montenegro may provide that citizens of certain countries require a transit visa to the airport for reasons of national security and legal order.
According to the Regulation on the conditions of non-commercial transportation of pets, pets, such as dogs and cats, can be transported to Montenegro non-commercially (up to 5 pets, not younger than 3 months), if:
They are identified in the prescribed manner
They are accompanied by a passport
They were vaccinated against rabies
They are older than 12 weeks on the day of vaccination
21 days have passed since the first vaccination against rabies
A rabies antibody titer test was performed 30 days after the date of vaccination and at least three months before the date of non-commercial movement
A veterinary health certificate is provided
The import of pets is allowed if they are accompanied by a veterinary passport and an appropriate veterinary certificate for non-commercial movement of pets issued by a licensed veterinarian of the exporting country.
