According to a new Forbes study, Venezuela, Pakistan, and Myanmar have been recognized as the most dangerous destinations for international travelers. Therefore, tourists are advised to refrain from traveling to these cities.

Research results from Forbes Advisor

The study analyzed 60 cities across seven risk categories, including crime, personal safety, healthcare, infrastructure, natural disasters, and digital security. Cities were rated on a 100-point scale to determine the overall risk to tourists.

Venezuela's capital Caracas turned out to be the most dangerous city, receiving all 100 points. The British Foreign Office recommends avoiding travel to certain areas of Venezuela.

Karachi (Pakistan) was ranked second due to the high level of terrorist threat, and Yangon (Myanmar) was third with 91.67 points, showing a high risk of data theft and poor quality of medical services.

Singapore was recognized as the safest city, receiving 0 points due to its low risk of natural disasters and infrastructure threats. Tokyo (Japan) and Toronto (Canada) took second and third place, respectively, with less than 15 points.

6. Dhaka, Bangladesh - 89.5 points;

7. Bogota, Colombia - 86.7 points;

8. Cairo, Egypt - 83.44 points;

9. Mexico City, Mexico - 82.43 points;

10. Quito, Ecuador - 82.02 points.
