What is the Golden Visa for Content Creators in Dubai?

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its Golden Visa program to include digital content creators with a new initiative called Creators HQ in Dubai. The program offers 10-year renewable residency permits, opening up opportunities for content creators from around the world to move and work in the UAE.

The program is supported by the Content Creators Support Fund with a budget of USD 40.8 million. The fund’s funds are intended to assist with visa applications, business registration and relocation to the UAE.

The UAE is a global hub for content creators

On January 13, 2025, Creators HQ was launched at Emirates Towers, a dedicated hub that will host over 300 events annually, including workshops on branding, video production, content monetization and storytelling. Participants will have access to mentorship programs, creative camps and individual training from industry leaders.

Particular attention will be paid to partnerships with large technology companies, streaming services, developers in the field of artificial intelligence and AR/VR. The initiative is also open to cooperation with production centers, animation studios, fashion brands and media startups.

Creators HQ aims to attract 10,000 influencers and industry professionals to the UAE in the coming years. The project already brings together 100 participants from over 20 countries, as well as key partners including Meta, TikTok and X.

That is why the UAE has launched the Golden Visa for Content Creators.
