Paphos received the highest quality of life index. The second place went to the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. Limassol took the third position, and the last city in the ranking was Larnaca.
Security in all four cities is at a high level: Limassol has an index of 63.68, Nicosia - 69.25, Paphos - 67.44, and Larnaca - 71.49. The climatic conditions in all cities received a score above 90 points, indicating favorable weather conditions. The population health index varies, with Paphos having the highest score of 68.72 and Limassol the lowest at 51.26.
The indices of the ratio of real estate prices to income also vary: the lowest index in Nicosia is 6.44, while in Limassol it reaches 11.21. For comparison, in Athens, the index is very high at 14.95.
The cost of living in each of the four cities is also different:
1. Limassol: the cost of an average family with two children is approximately 3,154 euros, and one person here needs about 903 euros;
2. Larnaca: the monthly cost of living for a family is 3,055.4 euros, and for one person the monthly cost is 873.0 euros;
3. Nicosia: the estimated cost of a family with two children is 2,909 euros, and for one person - 835.5 euros;
4. Paphos: the cost for a family of four is 2,934.3 euros, and one person needs approximately 821.6 euros.
Such different figures indicate that each city in Cyprus has its own unique features and living conditions.
