Magaluf
Magaluf is deservedly considered the center of a bright and eventful vacation on the southern coast of Mallorca. This city offers tourists a developed resort infrastructure with comfortable hotels and a variety of entertainment, both water and night.
The resort area of Magaluf includes three beaches: Playa de Magaluf, Playa de Son Matias and Playa Palma Nova. All of them have white sand and a shallow, gentle entrance to the sea. These public beaches are characterized by impeccable cleanliness and excellent infrastructure, which is confirmed by the Blue Flag awards.
Playa de Magaluf, half a kilometer long, is located in the central part of the city between the bay of Cala Vinyes and the Punta desa Torre Nova. A pedestrian alley stretches along the beach, where numerous cafes and restaurants are located. Nearby, to the north, stretches Playa de Son Matias, and behind it, in a cozy bay, is Playa Palma Nova.
Each of the beaches offers a wide range of water activities: from banana and scooter rides to parasailing, kitesurfing, windsurfing and diving. For those looking for outdoor activities, Magaluf also offers a huge Aqualand water park and a go-kart track, both of which are located on the outskirts of the city.
Playa de Muro
The charming town of Playa de Muro, which is not so easy to find on the map of Mallorca, is located on the northeast coast between the resorts of Alcudia and Can Picafort. It is a modern and rapidly developing resort with a long coastal area covered with white sand and surrounded by pine forests. There are several hotels along the beach offering a comfortable stay.
Playa De Muro is famous for its cleanliness, crystal clear water and picturesque mountain views that open on the horizon. The gentle descent into the sea stretches for almost 200 meters, making this place ideal for families with children. In the morning, the sea is calm with light waves, and closer to noon, the excitement can increase slightly due to the wind.
There are sun loungers, umbrellas and safes for rent on the beach. There are cozy shops and cafes along the coast where you can enjoy local cuisine and buy souvenirs. Playa de Muro is an ideal place for those looking for a relaxing and comfortable vacation in Mallorca.
Playa de Palma
To the east of Palma de Mallorca stretches the 8-kilometer coast of the Playa de Palma resort, known for its white sand and three wonderful beach areas. The public beach of Playa de Palma begins after the Can Pastilla resort and ends in the El Arenal area. It is approximately 4.5 kilometers long and up to 50 meters wide. Thanks to its clean white sand, shallow water and high level of service, this beach has deservedly received the Blue Flag.
The infrastructure of Playa de Palma provides all the necessary amenities: showers, toilets, changing rooms, sunbeds and umbrellas rental, as well as access for people with disabilities. The beach offers excellent conditions for water sports such as water skiing, motorcycling and paragliding. Safety on the beach is ensured by the work of lifeguards.
Behind the beach there is a bike path and a pedestrian promenade lined with hotels, bars and restaurants. For those looking for additional entertainment, there is a water park, aquarium, and zoo nearby, adding vivid emotions to the vacation. Next to Playa de Palma is the small beach of Cala Estanya, protected by breakwaters that create a cozy bay for a relaxing holiday.
Can Picafort
The resort town of Can Picafort is located on the coast of the Gulf of Alcudia. It is known for its numerous hotels, restaurants and resorts. It is an ideal place for a family vacation. Its main advantage is two beautiful beaches separated by a picturesque cape. Playa Larga, located in the north, gently bends around the bay and stretches to the very outskirts of Alcudia. Most of the beach is covered with soft white sand, which turns into a rocky shore at the southern edge. The sea here is characterized by crystal clear water and a gentle sandy bottom.
A comfortable stay in Can Picafort is ensured by the presence of showers, toilets, and sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. Particular attention is paid to the safety of vacationers - during the high season, a medical center and lifeguards work on the beach.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the resort offers catamaran boating, banana boating, windsurfing, water skiing and many other water activities. There are restaurants and bars along the promenade, where live music sounds in the evenings, creating a great atmosphere for relaxation. Particularly noteworthy is the Son Baolo area, nestled behind a promontory in a picturesque pine grove in the east of Can Picafort.
Ca'n Pere Antoni
Ca'n Pere Antoni, which has received the prestigious Blue Flag award, is just 2 kilometers from the center of Palma. This beach with a narrow strip of golden sand stretching for 750 meters begins near the majestic cathedral and attracts attention with its crystal clear turquoise sea. Moderate waves and a convenient gentle entrance into the water make this beach popular with vacationers in season.
Ca'n Pere Antoni has all the necessary conditions for a comfortable stay: from special access for people with disabilities to the constant duty of lifeguards. The beach line is accompanied by a picturesque promenade, along which there are numerous cocktail bars and restaurants that create a cozy atmosphere for relaxation.
For those who like active recreation, there is a bike path along the promenade, where you can take pleasant walks both in the morning and in the evening. The only inconvenience may be the lack of the possibility to rent a sunbed and umbrella directly on the beach, but this is easily solved - they can be rented at the Nassau Beach Club restaurant, located on the east side of the beach.

Cala Millor
Cala Millor is one of the most popular resort towns on the east coast of Mallorca, known for its stretch of beach, which is more than a kilometer long and up to 36 meters wide. The southern part of the beach is protected from the winds by a rocky promontory, which creates a calm environment for relaxation. There are no waves here, and the white sand and shallow water make this place ideal for families with children.
The beach is municipal, so the entrance is free. All the necessary amenities, such as changing rooms, showers, toilets and ramps for people with disabilities, are available to visitors at no extra charge. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and diving and windsurfing equipment can be rented for a fee. The safety of vacationers is ensured by lifeguards who constantly supervise swimming and water activities.
Behind the beach is a picturesque promenade leading to the neighboring resort of Cala Bona. Along it are bars, restaurants, and a city bus stop, which adds to the convenience of tourists.
Cala Major
The Spanish resort of Cala Major, located 4 kilometers west of the capital of Mallorca, Palma, offers a wonderful vacation on the picturesque city beach. Surrounded by cliffs on both sides, this beach is protected from the winds, which creates ideal conditions for a relaxing vacation. The cleanliness and environmental safety of the beach, which stretches 200 meters in length and 80 meters in width, has been deservedly awarded the Blue Flag. Opposite is the luxury hotel “Nixe Palace Hotel”, which adds to the attractiveness of this place.
Cala Major is known for its fine white sand, which makes it an ideal place to relax. The beach is divided into several picturesque bays with a magnificent view of the triad of rocks Sa-Torre, Sa-Caleta and Des-Pas, protruding from the sea. It has all the necessary amenities: showers, toilets, ramps for people with disabilities, and a rescue tower.
For active vacationers, sunbeds, umbrellas, water bikes, as well as windsurfing and yachting equipment are available for rent. On weekdays, the beach has a calm atmosphere, but on weekends it becomes a favorite vacation spot for locals. Most of the hotels with bars and restaurants are located on the first coastline, which makes this resort even more convenient for tourists.
Cala Figuera
In the north of the island, on the way to Cape Formentar, there is a charming bay of Cala Figuera, which impresses with its picturesque nature and clear blue waters. This cozy bay, which resembles a horseshoe shape, stretches 300 meters long and 100 meters wide. It is surrounded by pine-covered cliffs on both sides: high, steep and rocky on the left and lower sandstone cliffs on the right.
Beyond the bay is the mountain of Es Fumat, which rises to 300 meters, and its foothills are covered with various shrubs. Low palm trees stretch along the coast, adding a special charm to the area. The bay is naturally divided into two arms, each of which forms beaches: Caló d'en Busques, 45 meters long and 10 meters wide, and the smaller Caló d'en Boira.
A stony path from the parking lot leads to these beaches, which stretches for 1,400 meters. At the beginning you will come to a round platform, from which stairs go down to the coast. Both beaches are covered with pebbles and stones, which are more common at the entrance to the sea. There is no infrastructure on the beach, but there are anchorages that allow you to get to Cala Figuera by yacht.
Cala Várquez
Often called the pearl of Mallorca's east coast, Cala Várquez is located just 12 kilometers from Porto Cristo. This is a natural, wild beach that captivates with its picturesque beauty. The harmonious combination of golden sand, snow-white foam and azure waters of the sea creates a real paradise. The beach stretches for 90 meters along the shore and 60 meters deep, providing a convenient entrance to the sea with a flat sandy bottom and crystal clear water, which makes swimming here especially pleasant.
The southern tip of Cala Vares is distinguished by its bizarre rock formation, behind which lies a small beach popular with nudists. There is no infrastructure on the beach, so you should prepare in advance by taking everything you need for swimming, sunbathing, as well as water and food. The rocky shores of Cala Vares attract many climbers who conquer the northern arch to perform a deep-sea solo, jumping from a height directly into the sea.
Due to its remoteness from settlements and hotels, Cala Várquez remains a place for those looking for quiet solitude. This beach can be reached only by sea, which gives it a special charm and wild uniqueness.
Cala Pi
The Llucmajor area on the southern coast of Mallorca is known for its charming town of Cala Pi, near which is the beach of the same name, surrounded by pine trees. The beach attracts tourists with its white sand, turquoise water and spectacular views of rocky cliffs. Although it is only 50 meters long, it stretches 100 meters deep. High 30-meter cliffs on both sides protect the beach from the wind, creating a cozy atmosphere both on the water and on the shore. At the top of one of the cliffs stands a watchtower dating back to the 16th century, which once served as a defense for this area.
Cala Pi Beach is characterized by a convenient gentle entrance to the sea, making it an ideal place to relax. Here you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers, as well as buy drinks and ice cream to cool off. Lifeguards ensure safe swimming from morning to 6 pm. Sometimes yachts sail into the bay, which adds a special charm to the area.
Residential buildings are located near the beach, there is a bus stop, and a parking lot is located closer to the descent to the sea. There are 147 stone steps leading down to the beach, which adds a special atmosphere to the visit to Cala Pi.
