The Democratic Republic of Congo is the second largest country in Africa. The capital of the country, Kinshasa, has the largest population in Africa - about 14,950,000 inhabitants. The state language is French.

Visa-free regime

In the Republic of Congo, visa-free regime is established with 5 countries: Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon.

The total period of stay in the country should not exceed 90 days. As part of visa-free travel, you can go on a tourist trip, visit relatives or friends, a business meeting, cultural events or sports competitions.


Visa

Citizens of 10 countries can apply for a visa upon arrival at the Maya-Maya International airport in Brazzaville: Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Togo and the United Arab Emirates.

Citizens of other countries of the world before traveling to the Congo must apply for a visa at any accredited consulate of the country.

A tourist visa is issued for a period of 3 months (90 days). Also, foreigners traveling to the Republic of Congo for tourist purposes can issue a multiple-entry visa for a period of 6 months (180 days).


List of documents for obtaining a Congo visa:

- completed visa application form in two copies;

- two color photographs of passport size;

- valid passport;

- a copy of the passport and previous Congolese visas (if any);

- invitation letter or hotel reservation;

- copy of air tickets and itinerary;

- confirmation of visa fee payment;

- a copy of the international yellow fever vaccination certificate.

The list of documents may be supplemented depending on the purpose of your trip, as well as the embassy or consulate where you apply.


List of documents for travel to Congo:

- foreign passport valid for six months from the date of entry;

- medical Insurance;

- visa (if visa-free is not established with the country).

Transit visa to Congo
