The 2024/2025 ski season has already started, so now is the best time to plan your trip. No matter what you are looking for, a quiet family vacation or skiing on exciting black slopes, we have prepared for you the best offers for your ski holiday - the top of the largest ski resorts in the world below.

Les 3 Vallées (3 Valleys), France

- Total length of slopes: 600 km.

- Number of lifts: 166.

- Number of ski runs: 328.

Explore alpine glaciers and descend steep groomed trails in one of the French resorts of the “Three Valleys”. This area consists of three resorts in the Northern French Alps - Val Thorens (the highest resort in Europe, with an altitude of 2300 m), Courchevel and Méribel-Mottaret.

As you explore Val Thorens, climb to the highest point in the Three Valleys with a lift at 3,230m. From there, experienced skiers start their Pierre Laury route.

Wherever you are in Les 3 Vallées, the magic of the French Alps is constant. You’ll be surrounded by chalet-style architecture in 50 mountain villages that range from your all-inclusive resorts to quaint farmhouses.

Sella Ronda, Italy

- Total length of slopes: 500km.

- Number of lifts: 222.

- Ski valleys: 4.

Located right in the middle of the Dolomites, Sella Ronda is a collection of ski slopes that surround Mount Sella. Spend a whole day here, doing the entire loop – orange clockwise and green anti-clockwise signs will help you on your journey.

The 40km intermediate route runs through four ski resorts and four mountain passes, all accessible via the Dolomiti Superski pass. It’s the steepest slope in the entire region, which hosts two World Cup races each year.

Via Lattea, or the Milky Way, Italy/France

- Total length of slopes: 400km.

- Number of lifts: 70.

Want to enjoy a morning croissant in France and an afternoon espresso in Italy? That’s possible on the Via Lattea, or the “Milky Way,” which spans eight villages in the Italian and French Alps. The Italian side of the ski area includes Pragelato, Sansicario, Cesana, Clavier, Sauze d'Oulx and Oulx. The French side includes the Montegenevre ski area.

This resort is large, so plan your ski day to make sure you don't get stuck in a bus or taxi after the lifts close. The central station of Sportina is a good place for beginners, and the nearby Sauze d'Oulx area offers exciting tree skiing. Ask the locals about the best runs.

To access both the Italian and French sides of the Milky Way, buy an international lift pass. If you only have a day or two, opt for the Via Lattea ski pass, which gives you access to the Italian side of the resort, which boasts a lot of terrain to cover in a shorter trip.

Arlberg Ski Resort, Austria

- Total length of slopes: 305 km.

- Number of lifts: 88.

The largest ski area in Austria is a great place for your next vacation. The ski area covers three main regions and five towns, which are connected by an efficient lift system. There are many areas for beginners and intermediate skiers, as well as off-piste routes that are best explored with a guide.

After a full day of skiing, head to St. Anton for après-ski and party, or relax in the smaller, authentic ski town of Stuben for a relaxing family atmosphere.

Park City, USA

- Total length of slopes: 29.5 km².

- Number of lifts: 40.

Founded in 1884 as a silver mining town, Park City has grown into the largest ski area in the United States. Its 17 peaks and full resort amenities make Park City an easy choice for families.

Beginners and children can explore the gentle groomed trails and trees of High Meadow Park, while adventurers can ski and chute on Jupiter Peak and the double black terrain of McConkie Bowl.

Let’s remind you! Active recreation among snowy slopes, picturesque views and bright entertainment after skiing is over is a real winter fairy tale for many tourists. There is very little left until the start of the 2024/2025 ski season, which means it’s time to plan your winter vacation.
