Representatives of 38 countries have received the right to visa-free travel:

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, North Macedonia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom, Vatican City.


Requirements for visa-free travel to Belarus


Citizens of the above-mentioned countries have the right to enter, provided that they meet the following requirements:


- Possession of a valid passport.

- Purpose of visit tourism, business or transit without the need for a visa.


Important! Travelers can transit through Belarus to other destinations, if they are not going to Russia.


Length of stay in Belarus on the basis of visa-free travel


- Usually up to 30 days.

- Poland, Lithuania, Latvia (including non-citizens of Latvia) – up to 90 days.


Who is not entitled to visa-free entry to Belarus?


Holders of diplomatic or service passports are excluded, with the exception of holders of biometric diplomatic passports from the EU.

Electronic visa to Belarus


In addition to the extension of the visa-free regime, Belarus also operates an electronic visa program, which the country launched in March 2025 for tourists and business travelers from 67 countries.


What is a Belarusian electronic visa?


According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an electronic visa to Belarus is single-entry and valid for up to 30 days. It allows you to travel for various purposes, including:


- Business trips,

- Tourism and private visits,

- Internship or study,

- Participation in sports and cultural events,

- Participation in scientific and educational programs.


How to apply for an electronic visa to Belarus?


Step 1 – Register a personal account

To do this, visit the official electronic visa portal E-Pasluga (accessible via the website and mobile application).


Step 2 – Fill out the online form

Select the service code 3.04.01 in the “Issuance of an electronic visa” section.


Step 3 – Pay the visa fee

Payment can be made online using Visa International or Mastercard Worldwide.


Step 4 – Wait for processing

Applications will be considered within seven calendar days.


Step 5 – Receive your approved e-visa

It will arrive electronically, you will need to have a printed or digital copy with you when entering Belarus.


Cost of an electronic visa to Belarus


- For EU citizens – 35 euros,

- For citizens of other countries – 60 euros,

- For citizens of Japan – free of charge,

- Children under 12 years old (EU citizens) and under 14 years old (other countries) receive a visa free of charge.

There is also an additional service fee of 6 euros.


Citizens of which countries can apply for an electronic visa to Belarus?


Citizens of the European Union can currently enter Belarus without a visa until December 31, 2026. However, they are also eligible to apply for a Belarusian electronic visa, which offers a simplified alternative for long stays or certain travel purposes.

- Other countries: Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, North Macedonia, Seychelles.
