Dubai Offers Residents $800 Bonuses for Inviting Tourists: How the Program Works
You can now invite friends or family to Dubai and enjoy an added benefit. UAE residents receive bonuses for hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions worth over $800 if their guests actually visit the city
Dubai has launched the A Dubai Invite program, which encourages UAE citizens and residents to invite loved ones from abroad to the city. For each confirmed guest, participants can receive a package of travel perks worth a total of over 3,000 dirhams, or approximately $817.
This is not a cash payment, but rather free or discounted accommodations, restaurant offers, and tickets to popular attractions. The guest must arrive in Dubai by October 31, 2026, and each resident can receive a maximum of three such packages.

What does the “A Dubai Invite” program offer?
Program participants do not receive $800 in cash. Once the invited guest’s arrival is confirmed, participants gain access to a package of special offers from the campaign’s partners.
This may include:
- Bonuses and discounts on hotel stays
- Special offers at restaurants
- Tickets or discounts for visiting attractions
- Other travel benefits from program partners
The total stated value of the package exceeds 3,000 dirhams, which is approximately $817. The specific set of benefits depends on the offers available from hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The program’s official website states that guests must arrive in Dubai by October 31, 2026.
In a previous article, we reported that Dubai is building the world’s largest airport for $35 billion—a new aviation hub designed to handle 260 million passengers.
Who is eligible to participate in the program?
Adult citizens and residents of the UAE may invite a guest. The invited person must reside outside the country and travel to Dubai as a tourist.
Key terms of participation:
1. The invited guest must be outside the UAE at the time of registration
2. Valid travel documents and a tourist visa are required for the trip, if required by entry regulations
3. Each guest may be registered under the program only once
4. Rewards are credited after confirmation of the guest’s actual arrival
5. A single participant may receive no more than three benefit packages
Nominating a guest is free. However, participation in the program does not replace a visa, airline tickets, accommodation reservations, or other standard entry requirements for the UAE.
We previously reported that Dubai has eliminated the minimum real estate purchase requirement for the two-year investor visa in 2026.
How to invite a friend or relative to Dubai?
To participate in the program, a UAE resident must register the invited guest on the official A Dubai Invite website. The nomination itself does not guarantee any benefits: the perks become available only after the visitor actually arrives in Dubai.
The participation process is as follows:
1. The resident goes to the program’s website and completes the registration.
2. They enter the details of a friend or relative living outside the UAE.
3. The invited guest plans their trip and arrives in Dubai by October 31, 2026.
4. The system confirms their visit.
5. The participant gains access to offers from hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions.
Before submitting an application, it is important to verify the accuracy of the guest’s personal information and check the current entry requirements for their nationality. The program does not cover airfare or process visas; therefore, the tourist must arrange these matters separately. The campaign’s official website confirms that bonuses are awarded for inviting relatives who arrive in the city by the end of October.
In our previous article, we discussed where to go in Slovakia this summer: routes to castles, caves, and thermal springs.
Until what date is the offer valid?
The invited tourist must arrive in Dubai no later than October 31, 2026. Once the visit is confirmed, the resident will gain access to the package of travel bonuses.
Most of the benefits received can be used until December 31, 2026, unless a different deadline is specified in the terms of a specific offer. Individual hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions may set their own dates, require advance reservations, or restrict availability during holidays and peak periods.
Therefore, after activating the package, you should immediately check:
- The validity period of each perk
- Available booking dates
- Whether advance registration is required
- Any additional fees and exceptions
- Whether the offer can be transferred to another person
Bonuses not used by the end of the specified period may be canceled, so it’s best not to delay your booking until the end of the year.

Why did Dubai launch this program?
A Dubai Invite is a tourism marketing campaign that encourages residents to recommend the city to their friends and relatives abroad. Instead of traditional advertising, Dubai uses personal invitations, as people are more likely to trust recommendations from acquaintances when choosing a vacation destination.
The program also supports local hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Invited guests spend money on flights, accommodations, transportation, shopping, and entertainment, while residents gain access to partner perks.
The campaign also helps attract tourists after the peak summer season has ended. The deadline for arrival is set for October 31, 2026, when temperatures in Dubai become more comfortable for walking, beach vacations, and sightseeing.
