1. Select the "Visa Application" option on the main page of the site. You will be redirected to the online Chile visa application form.
2. Fill in the required information regarding your nationality, age, passport type and details of your trip. You will receive a confirmation code that you can use to pause your application and return to it later.
3. Answer the questions in all the following sections. After completing one chapter, select "Save and continue" to move on to the next.
4. Finally, in the last section, you must upload electronic copies of all required documents.
5. Submit your application and wait for a message from the Chilean consulate that is processing your visa application.
- All Chilean visa applications must be submitted online, with the exception of diplomatic or official visa applications, which must be submitted in person.If your visa is approved, you must collect it from the Chilean consulate that is responsible for processing your application. You will be informed of the location where you can get your visa when you apply online.—There is no standard set of visa fees for Chile. 1. Provide a medical certificate issued by the official health authority of the animal's country of origin, in Spanish and in the official language of the country of origin, valid for no more than 10 calendar days.
The certificate must state that:
- 10 days before departure, the animal underwent a clinical examination by a veterinarian, in which he notes that the animal does not suffer from infectious and parasitic infectious diseases.
- The animal has been vaccinated against rabies at least one month and a maximum of 12 months before departure or tested for antibodies against the rabies virus 3-24 months before travel.
- 30 days before departure, the animals underwent external and internal deworming of a wide range of action. It is necessary to indicate the active substance of the used antiparasitic agent, the dosage and the date of application.
In addition, the certificate must contain:
- Information about the owner.
- Information about the animal (vaccination, tests and treatment).
- Address of residence during stay in Chile.

Customs rules for importing things into the country are standard, all personal items are not subject to declaration.

You must declare all products of plant and animal origin that you import into Chile.
Failure to comply with the above obligation will result in a fine.
To drive a car in Chile, you need an international driver's license or an international-style license from your country. A credit card with your name on it is required to rent. In addition, you must be at least 20 years old to rent a car, but some car rental agencies may require you to be 21 or 25 years old; better check the age requirements of the company of your choice first. All vehicles must have Seguro Obligatorio (minimum insurance) to have a safe drive in Chile, but additional insurance is preferable.
