Car rental companies require the tourist to be at least 25 years old; however, there are exceptions for those who are 21 years old. The only difference is that for people under 25 years of age, an additional minor fee is added to the base rental rate you choose.

Paraguay sets different speed limits in certain places. Drivers must maintain a maximum speed of 80 km/h in cities and other urban areas; while the maximum speed in rural areas is 50 km/h and on highways — 110 km/h. There may not be many fixed speed cameras installed in the areas of Paraguay, but the police always have mobile speed cameras and use them where the speed limit is unclear or where the limit changes.
