Rules for entering the country
Most tourists need a visa to enter Angola, which must be approved by an embassy or consulate. For a short-term visit, a tourist visa is suitable, which entitles you to stay in the country for up to 30 days. It can be extended twice for the same period. You can also get an e-visa, which allows you to make tourist, guest or business trips.
Vaccination is an important condition for entry. Foreign tourists must have proof of yellow fever vaccination. In addition, depending on the place of visit and length of stay, it is advisable to be vaccinated against hepatitis A, malaria, typhoid, cholera, hepatitis B, and rabies.
Be sure to check your documents before applying for a visa and traveling. For example, a passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
Upon arrival, tourists must present their passport, visa, and all the documents that were submitted with the application, including the registration form for traveling to Angola.
