The British consulting company Skytrax has released a ranking of the world's best airports in 2023. Find out more about which airports are on the list

On March 15, 2023, an award ceremony for the world's best airports took place in Amsterdam. According to the rating of the consulting company Skytrax, which reviews airlines and airports, Singapore Changi Airport took the first place, and aviation hubs in Tokyo, Paris, Zurich, etc. also got into the rating.

1st place – Changi Airport, Singapore

Singapore's only airport has become the leader of the rating for the 12th time, except for the last two years, when Changi took the 2nd place due to a drop in the number of passengers during the coronavirus pandemic. Experts have named the world's best dining and lounge areas at Changi Airport.

2nd place – Hamad International Airport, Doha

The airport in Doha was the leader of the rating in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, it received the highest number of points for the world's best airport shopping area, as well as being recognized as the best and cleanest airport in the Middle East.

3rd place – Haneda International Airport, Tokyo

As last year, this Japanese airport took third place and was recognized as the cleanest airport in the world.

4th place – Incheon International Airport, Seoul

Seoul Airport's personnel service is recognized as the best in the world, and it has also become a leader in terms of speed and quality of processing immigration documents.

5th place – Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris

Recognized as the best airport in Europe.

6th place – Istanbul International Airport

The air gate of Turkey has been awarded the status of the best airport in Southern Europe and is the most convenient for family travel.

7th place – Munich Airport

Experts named it the best in Central Europe, and noted the professionalism of the airport staff.

8th place – Zurich Airport

The Swiss airport has become the safest in the world.

9th place – Narita International Airport, Tokyo

10th place – Madrid-Barajas Airport

China's Shenzhen Bao'an Airport was named the most improved, while Bahrain International Airport won the top award for the world's best airport baggage handling system.

Also in 2023, a new Art in the Airport Award was introduced, with the Houston Airport System as the winner, with experts honoring two of the organization's airports in Texas: William P. Hobby Airport and George W. Bush Intercontinental Airport.
