In Cyprus, the cost of basic goods in supermarkets is very different. A liter of milk costs from 1.13 to 2.50 euros. A kilogram of fresh white bread costs between €2.00 and €6.27. A dozen large eggs can cost around €4.63 and potatoes €1.39 per kilo. The price of 500 grams of boneless chicken breast is about 5.03 euros. How much will a dinner in a Cypriot restaurant cost?

However, bus service has a number of disadvantages - the schedule is not very reliable, there are also restrictions in routes.

That is why most expats prefer to travel by their own or rented car. A liter of gasoline on the island costs about 1.5€. It is also possible to use taxi services. The rate is 1.5 euros per 1 km. If you decide to go from Limassol to Paphos, which is 70 km away, you will pay around 105 euros.


Healthcare costs in Cyprus
