Ukrainian citizens do not need a visa to enter the Czech Republic for tourist purposes. The total period of stay in the country should not exceed 90 days within 180 days. This applies if you are traveling as a tourist, visiting family or friends, attending business meetings, cultural or sporting events. Staying longer is possible, but you must apply for a visa.

When entering the Czech Republic, a foreigner must have:
- Passport or other valid travel document;
- A valid visa or other valid document granting the right to enter and stay in this territory, if required;

How much money do you need to have when entering the Czech Republic?
The border guard service has the right to require a foreigner to document the availability of sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of living in the Czech Republic and returning to the country of origin.
These amounts depend on the purpose and length of stay. For tourists, guests and similar purposes of short-term stay:
Up to 30 days - at the rate of 1010 CZK for each day of stay in the country.
Up to 60 days - 34340 CZK total.
Up to 90 days - 38380 CZK total.
For a long-term stay, you must have an amount for half a year or a year. So, for example, for training, you need to present 55,000 CZK for 6 months or 81,400 CZK for a year. In this case, the currency can be any.
If you don’t have the right to enter the Czech Republic without a visa, you may need an airport transit visa.

Citizens who don’t have the right to a visa-free regime should apply for an airport transit visa. A transit visa allows visa holders to stay in the international transit zone of the Czech airport without access to the national territory, during stops or joints of flights. Entry requirements depend on the applicant's citizenship and resident status (sometimes in a third country).
Exceptions
Under certain circumstances, you don't need a transit visa. For example, if you:
- have a visa or residence permit in a country of the Schengen Area, EU or EEA
- have a visa to Canada, Japan or the United States
- have a residence permit that guarantees return to Andorra, San Marino, Canada, Japan and the United States
- is a family member of an EU, EEA or Czech citizen (you must be able to prove it)
- have a diplomatic passport
- is a duty officer and a citizen of a country that is a member of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
To import pets into the Czech Republic, all animals must have:
Microchip for pets. Your pet must be chipped with a 15-digit unencrypted microchip that complies with the ISO 11784/11785 standard.
Vaccinations. Your dog or cat must have a valid rabies vaccination after chipping.
Health certificate: a licensed veterinarian must complete an EU medical certificate for the Czech Republic 10 days before traveling.
