Multiple-entry visasA multiple-entry visa is available and may be issued for multiple entries over a period of twelve months or twenty-four months at the discretion of the issuing officer. Transit passengers traveling within one day (24 hours) who normally require a visa do not require a visa to enter Antigua and Barbuda provided they have proof of their onward travel and do not leave the airport's controlled space.

Microchip for pets
To enter Antigua from a rabies-infected country (such as the United States or Canada), your pet must first be microchipped with a 15-digit and unencrypted microchip that conforms to the ISO 11784/11785 standard. If your pet's microchip is not ISO compliant, you can bring your own microchip scanner.
Vaccinations
Pets entering Antigua and Barbuda from rabies-infected countries such as the United States and Canada must have been vaccinated against rabies within the last year.
Dogs should be screened for Ehrlichia and Lyme disease. Cats should be tested for FIP, FeLV and FIV.
Rabies antibody titer test
For pets entering Antigua and Barbuda from a rabies-infected country that does not have strict importation requirements for rabies-carrying animals (eg, the United States and Canada), a rabies antibody titer test must be performed no earlier than 30 days after vaccination against rabies. Samples must be processed in laboratories approved by the OIE.
A titer test is not required when entering Antigua and Barbuda from a country that is OIE-certified rabies-free and maintains strict controls on the importation of rabies-carrying animals (eg, Barbados or Jamaica).
Health certificate
7 days before arrival, an accredited USDA or CFIA veterinarian must complete an Antigua and Barbuda Medical Certificate if traveling from the United States or Canada. If you are not traveling from one of these countries, the government agency responsible for importing and exporting animals must approve the form.
Import permit
A veterinary import license from the Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry is required to enter Antigua and Barbuda with a personal pet.
Entry to Antigua and Barbuda by plane
Pets must enter V.C. Bird International Airport in St. John's. You must notify the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department of your arrival 48 hours in advance to allow for an inspection; there is an inspection fee. All domestic dogs and cats must be free of any disease that is communicable to humans when screened at the airport of entry. If your dog or cat is not in good health, further examination by a licensed veterinarian may be required at your expense.
The import of local and foreign currency is not limited, but large amounts are subject to mandatory declaration. Export of local and foreign currency is limited to the amount specified in the declaration upon entry into the country. Up to 1.13 liters of spirits or wine. Up to 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco.
To import animals, you need to provide a certificate with notes on the vaccinations prescribed by international regulations. The road surface is in satisfactory condition, but most of the roads in Barbuda were destroyed by Irma Hurricane, some sections have already been restored, but repair work is still in full swing. The quality of the main highways is acceptable, but even there road signs are not always present. It is better to leave the car in paid parking lots, the cost is about 10 XCD per hour.
There are often animals on the roads, so vehicles move slowly.
Car rental
The minimum age for renting a car is 21 years. To rent a car, you need a national and international driver's license, a credit card, as well as a local driving permit issued at the rental office (to purchase it, you need to show your license and pay 55 XCD).
In international rental centers, there are more guarantees, but the prices are also much higher. It is recommended to rent a four-wheel drive car.
