Do you need a visa to study in Austria

So, in most cases, a visa is required to study in Austria. However, there are a few exceptions.

• The confirmation of paid tuition fees. You must provide a copy of the receipt/bank statement for payment of your university contribution.
• University documents from your previous universities (if any). If you attended a previous university, you must also provide a copy of these records.

If you find a job within these 6 months, you can apply for a red-white-red card that allows you to stay and work in Austria for two years.
