The best option is Thailand (Bangkok), where excellent medical service is provided. In Bhutan, the best place to provide care is the Timphu National Hospital. The hospital has general practitioners and specialists, as well as laboratories and operating rooms. Treatment for tourists is free of charge.

In any more or less large cities of Bhutan, there are also hospitals where you can seek first aid if necessary. In most cities, there are shops that include medical products. Sellers in stores usually give advice about the medications they have, but keep in mind that they are not certified pharmacologists.
