MAKE AN ORDER

The UAE has announced significant changes in visa policy for citizens of all countries of the world. This was reported by the Federal Administration of Identification, Nationality, Customs and Port Security (ICP). The new service will allow online visitors to extend the validity of all types of issued visas by 60 days.

Rules for extending visas in the UAE

To obtain an entry permit, the applicant must not be in the UAE. The service can be used once before entering the country.

The visa extension fee is 200 dirhams (approximately $55).

The applicant's passport must be valid for at least three months from the date of visa extension.

You can use the service:

- on the ICP website;

- through the official mobile application.

The applicant will receive confirmation of visa extension by e-mail.

A foreigner can also apply to the certified centers of the Federal Office of Identification, Nationality, Customs and Port Security (ICP).

When can the visa not be extended?

If the package of documents is incomplete, the request will be rejected 30 days after its submission, if the applicant does not fill in the necessary data within this period. The request can be returned for revision three times.

Upon rejection of the request, fees and financial guarantees (if any) are refundable.

- to a credit card within six months from the date of application;

- using a special procedure for reimbursement of fees by check or bank transfer within 5 years.
