Citizens of the rest of the world need to apply for a visa to enter Luxembourg.

A Luxembourg short-term visa is issued for tourism, business meetings, medical tourism, visiting relatives, school trips, conferences, etc.

After receiving the visa

When a Schengen visa to Luxembourg has been issued, it is important to remember that it can be canceled at any moment, for example, if you have not informed the embassy or the visa center about any changes in your travel itinerary that occurred after submitting your application.

Being approved for a Luxembourg visa does not guarantee you entry to either Luxembourg or the Schengen area - you may still be refused entry on arrival.
In addition, you may need to provide additional documents regarding your financial availability or proof of residence to enter Luxembourg.

What should you remember before traveling to Luxembourg?

In Luxembourg, temperatures are generally cool and rainfall is fairly frequent throughout the year. Therefore, the best time to visit is May-September, when the weather is warm and dry. Keep in mind that Luxembourg is a small country, so it won't take you long to see everything it has to offer. A few days are usually enough to explore the capital of Luxembourg and the surrounding area.

Luxembourg is a safe country to travel to and the crime rate is low. However, as in any country, you should always take precautions and be aware of your surroundings. Keep your belongings close to you and don't walk alone at night in unfamiliar places.
