Treatment in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Morocco citizenship

It is allowed to come to Bosnia and Herzegovina with the intention of receiving treatment. In order to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina for treatment (less than 90 days) you need to obtain a type C visa.

Documents required for a medical visa:

• A valid passport (valid for at least 90 days from the date of visa issuance);
• An identity card and its copy;
• A completed visa application form issued by the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina;
• One photograph (3.5 x 4.5 cm).
• A document on diagnosis and treatment from a doctor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, describing where and how the treatment will be given, as well as the cost of treatment;
• An invitation letter. The visa policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina states that your letter must be certified by the Ministry of Security - the Service for Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
• A road health insurance.
• A confirmation of residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
• Documents confirming the current funds for the trip.
• A return ticket.

Foreign citizens coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina for humanitarian reasons, namely for the purpose of treatment, rehabilitation, a stay in a nursing home, have the basis to obtain a temporary residence permit in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Proof of hospitalization have to be provided to an institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the treatment, rehabilitation or a stay in a nursing home.

Temporary residence in this case is granted for a period not exceeding six months and may be extended on the same terms, which apply for obtaining a previous temporary residence permit.
