E-Arrival Card is a portal for electronic registration of foreign nationals arriving or departing to/from Brunei Darussalam to replace the previous physical paper-based form for completing the registration of arrival or departure to/from Brunei Darussalam, commonly known as Form 19.

The government of Brunei allows citizens of certain countries to travel to Brunei for tourism or business for up to 14/30/90 days without the need for a visa. All visitors must have a passport valid for 6 months.
A visa to Brunei can also be applied for online. This visa allows you to stay in the country for up to 30 days. But to get it, you need an invitation from the host country in Brunei. It will take from two weeks to a month to process. At the end of it, you should receive a confirmation letter. The visa itself will be delivered to you at the airport upon presentation of the letter.

Citizens of the following 56 countries can visit Brunei without a visa.
- 14 days: Cambodia, Canada, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar (Burma), Peru, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam.
- 30 days: Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Oman, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, Ukraine, UAE.
- 90 days: all citizens of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Important! Israeli citizens are not allowed to enter Brunei!
Citizens of the following 7 countries and territories can obtain a visa upon arrival at Brunei International Airport:
- Australia, Bahrain
- Kuwait (can get a single-entry visa valid for 30 days);
- China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan
Documents required to obtain a Brunei visa upon arrival are as follows;
- A passport that is valid for at least six months after your return date. And at least two free "visa pages";
- Proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay in Brunei;
- Round-trip airfare.
Additional documents may be required. Documents are submitted upon arrival at Brunei International Airport.

A tourist visa is issued to applicants who intend to visit Brunei for tourism and sightseeing. A tourist visa is valid for 90 days from the date of its issuance.
Required documents for obtaining a tourist visa:
- Application form, fully completed and signed.
- Passport-size photo, recent headshot on a white background, 3.5×4.5 cm in size.
- Passport and a copy of the main page, valid for at least six months after the date of your planned departure, with 2 blank pages.
- A copy of the return ticket.
- Proof of accommodation in Brunei. For example, hotel reservation or address where you will stay if you are staying with family/friends.
- Proof that you can financially support yourself in Brunei.
- Your contact information.
- Payment of the visa fee.
- If you are applying by mail: a pre-paid envelope with your own address to return your documents to the consular services.
For minors:
- A copy of the birth certificate/adoption certificate/custody order in case of divorce/death certificate of the father;
- A letter of consent from the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) if the minor is traveling unaccompanied.
- Travelers who change flights at Brunei International Airport can get a transit visa that is valid for a maximum of 72 hours (3 days).Brunei transit visa requirements:
- You must arrive and depart via Brunei International Airport.
- You must have a valid passport.
- You must have a confirmed ticket for the next flight within 72 hours.
- You must have a valid visa for a third destination country (if a visa is required).
- You must pay the visa fee in your local currency.
You can't extend your transit visa.
Animals imported from the listed countries are not quarantined:Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, and if your pet was born or lived in this country for at least 6 months before entering Brunei.
For all others, there are quarantine restrictions: all animals are quarantined for 180 days, but there are exceptions:
- if you have a rabies vaccination and a titer test, the quarantine period will be 14 days. The remaining time is considered a home quarantine;
- if there is a rabies vaccination, but without a rabies titer, the animal is quarantined for 30 days.

What documents are required to import an animal into the country?
- the animal must be implanted with a microchip that consists of 15 digits and complies with the ISO 11784/11785 standard. the microchip number must be displayed in the health certificate;
- the animal must have been vaccinated against rabies for 6 to 12 months before entering the country;
- there are countries classified by Brunei as rabies-free: Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Citizens who bring their animals from these countries are exempt from mandatory rabies vaccination;
- if you import an animal from an unclassified country, a rabies titer test is required, which should be performed no earlier than 30 days after rabies vaccination and no later than 24 months;
- all pets must have an import permit issued by the Department of Agriculture prior to entry;
- the veterinary certificate must be completed by a licensed veterinarian in your country no more than 48 hours before the trip;
- treatment of parasites before entry is mandatory;
- birds, invertebrates, tropical fish, amphibians, rodents are not subject to the requirements for rabies vaccination, but may have to meet other requirements that should be specified in the relevant authorities of your country/country of destination;
Important! Before importing a pet (if it is not a dog, cat, or ferret), make sure that it is not protected by the International Convention on international trade in Endangered Species of wild flora and fauna (CITES). If this is the case, then you will need to apply for additional documents.

Prohibited breeds of the dog for importation to Brunei: Akita, Phila Brasileiro, burbul, American Bulldog, great dane of Argentina, Neopolitan mastiff, pit bull (including American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire terrier and Staffordshire bull terrier), Great Dane of Canary and Japanese Tosa.
The following breeds of the dog can be imported, but with certain restrictions: bullmastiff, bull terrier, Doberman Pinscher, German/Alsatian/Belgian/Eastern European shepherds.
The dog must be older than 3 months and spayed. In public places, the dog should be kept on a leash and in a muzzle. A schematic representation of the rules can be viewed here.
- up to 2 bottles (2 liters) of strong alcoholic beverages and 12 cans (330 milliliters) of beer (for persons over 17 years of age);
- up to 200 cigarettes or up to 225 grams of tobacco (or an equivalent amount of tobacco products);
- 60 milliliters of perfume and 250 milliliters of Eau de toilette;
- personal items;
- medicines that do not require special permission in small quantities for personal use, provided that you have a prescription from your doctor.

In Brunei, you can use an international driver's license.
There are several ways to rent a car in Brunei:
- rent online;
- through car rental agencies located at the airport.
Renting a car at airport rental points is much more expensive than renting it online.

Age requirements for renting a car: you must be at least 25 years old and no more than 65 years old. Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 may pay additional fees.
