Rules for entry and stay in Cape Verde

Before traveling to Cape Verde, travelers must complete online pre-registration on the EASE electronic platform. It is recommended to submit the form at least five days before departure. The registration includes providing travel and passport information.

EASE is a mandatory pre-registration system for travelers over the age of 2 entering Cape Verde for tourism, business, medical treatment or educational purposes. During registration, travelers must also pay the Airport Security Tax (TSA).

Cape Verde grants visa-free entry for short stays to citizens of certain countries, provided they complete the EASE registration in advance. The permitted length of stay depends on nationality (usually 30, 60 or 90 days).
