How to apply for Ireland visa for Armenian citizens
Armenians must apply for a visa from Armenia or the country where you are a legal resident. Prepare your application 3 months before your trip.
You need to:
1. First, complete an online visa application
When you fill in your information in the online application form:
- Select the type of visa/prior authorization as “Short-term stay (C)”;
- Select the Trip Type as “Single” or “Multiple”;
- Select the correct reason for traveling. For example, if you are traveling to Ireland on vacation, you will select 'Visit Tourist'.
The instructions will vary depending on the country you are applying from. As part of this process, you will need to print a summary of your application.
After submitting the online application, Armenian citizens will need to submit the signed application summary and other documents to the appropriate authority listed on the website.
2. Pay the visa fee. Payment methods and currency options may vary from one authority to another. Contact your authority to find out how to pay. Some applicants are exempt from paying the visa fee. Current fees are:
- 60 euros: single entry - short-term visa “C”,
- 100 euros: multiple entries - short-term visa “C”.
Some programs may be subject to additional fees. For example, a consular fee. The visa fee covers the administrative costs of processing your application. It is not refundable if you withdraw your application or if we reject your application.
3. Submit your passport and other documents for processing. In some cases, you may also need to provide biometric information. You must do this within 30 days of creating your application through AVATS.
Make sure you have all the documents ready to submit. Put them in a sturdy, padded envelope and send them to your office. If you are applying for a visa for yourself and another person, you can send them together. To send together:
- Place each person's documents in separate envelopes;
- Write each applicant's name and visa application transaction number on each envelope;
- Place each envelope in a larger envelope and send it to the application office.
