In Lebanon, the authorities will allow you to drive based on your local driver's license. Your license must be valid for two years. If your license is not written in Latin alphabet, an international driver's license is required.

If you are staying in the country for more than three months, you will need to obtain a Lebanese driving license.

To rent a car, the minimum age of the driver is 21 years. You must have a driver's license, passport and credit card to rent. Some companies also require an international driver's license.
