Application and pre-registration procedure for studying in Morocco
Any foreign candidate for registration to study in Morocco is advised to carefully fill out the application form posted on the website of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI): https://www.amci.ma/.
The duly completed form must be attached to the application file, the documents listed on the AMCI website. This form must be submitted to the competent authorities of his country of origin, who are the only ones authorized to judge whether it is appropriate to transfer it to the competent authorities of Morocco.
AMCI sends the files of the selected candidates to the relevant ministerial departments for evaluation by the relevant departments and the relevant scientific commissions.
Final authorization is issued in the name of the candidate selected for registration in Morocco. It is valid only for the institution and academic year for which the candidate was selected.

After arriving in Morocco
Once in Morocco, students should contact the AMCI as soon as possible to complete their application and receive a scholarship (if they are a scholarship holder) and the nearest central police station to obtain a residence permit.

Accommodation for students in Morocco
There are about 25 university towns and boarding schools in Morocco. In addition, the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation receives quotas every year for students studying in the country through this agency.

Requirements for candidates to apply to study in Morocco
To be eligible to study in Morocco, prospective students must provide:
- Certificate of enrollment or scholarship granted by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) or any other official organization financing study programs in Morocco;
- Make sure that the applicant's name is on the list that the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation communicates in advance to the relevant diplomatic or consular mission, listing the names of international students selected by the agency mentioned above to study at a Moroccan university or foreign interns who wish to do an internship in the Kingdom of Morocco;
- Certificate of enrollment at a Moroccan public university or other higher education institution;
- Certificate of enrollment in a Moroccan private higher education institution. In this case, the request for a visa must be approved in advance by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The exception is students who study in main Moroccan schools approved by the relevant authority of Morocco.
- The applicant must justify sufficient financial means of subsistence during the period of study at the university (especially carefully should be treated with fictitious supporting documents);
- A guarantee provided by a close relative or guarantor residing in Morocco, duly signed and legalized, specifying the following elements:
* The guarantor must permanently reside in Morocco and provide for the student's accommodation and financial expenses.
* There should be an obligation to coordinate your resident status as an international student with the competent authority of the Main Directorate of National Security.
* There must be an obligation to cover repatriation costs if the student is expelled from Moroccan territory.
* Obligation to leave the territory of Morocco as soon as the residence permit expires.
The following documents must be submitted for the intern: The original of the internship agreement, signed by the host organization.
For the researcher: an accommodation agreement signed with an approved Moroccan research organization.

To obtain a student visa to study in Morocco, the following documents are required:
- Completed application form for an entry visa to the Kingdom of Morocco;

- Identity card or residence permit or any document with an address;
