Nauru is one of the most difficult countries to enter in the world (in terms of visas and logistics), it is also almost impossible to get a job due to the constant high unemployment rate, which often fluctuates around 90%.
Application requirements for employment/business visa in Nauru:
- Completed application form for a visa to Nauru.
- A copy of your passport, valid for at least another three months after your intended stay in Nauru.
- Recent passport photo with a white background.
- Letter from the employer/Employment contract.
- Indication of the reason for the trip (seminars, exhibitions, fairs, meetings, conferences, employment) and the duration of stay.
- Hotel reservation.
- Copies of your bookings for flights to and from Nauru, as well as any other Pacific islands you visit.
- Police clearance.
- Medical certificate.
- An international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever is required if you arrive from an infected area within 5 days.
Also, please note that business visitors must have a local sponsor.
Visas to Nauru are no longer obtained through the consulate. For business trips, an entry permit is required, which must be obtained before leaving. Permission from the Nauru Immigration Division is required. After issuing, the entry permit is sent to the applicant by e-mail and must be presented to the immigration officers upon arrival.
