A child who was born in Uganda can obtain citizenship provided that one of the parents or grandparents is or was a member of any of the indigenous communities that exist and reside within Uganda; one of the parents or grandparents at the time of birth was a Ugandan citizen by birth.

A special Ugandan pass allows the applicant to enter the country for the purpose of medical treatment.

Required documents for Uganda Special Pass:

1. Application form - a correctly completed application form

2. Photos

One photo with the size of the passport on a white background

3. Passport and a copy of the main page

The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure

4. A copy of your national identity card and residence permit/visa (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)

5. Confirmation of financial capabilities (bank statement, credit card statement)

6. Travel itinerary

- Copy of the ticket reservation

- Copy of the hotel reservation

7. Confirmation of the session purpose

Cover letter indicating the reasons and necessity for obtaining a special Uganda pass (invitation from a medical institution for treatment)

8. Certificate of non-criminal record (if necessary)

9. Confirmation of your current professional status

For example, an employment contract, a certificate from the place of work, an extract from the commercial and commercial register, a certificate of school attendance, or a certificate of pension.
