Treatment in Rwanda for Burundi citizenship

Legal person: a person who needs medical treatment or medical advice in Rwanda and has confirmed it.

The applicant must be able to confirm:

• Referral to a public medical institution or a private clinic, signed by a competent doctor of this institution.
• Having real plans to return to your country.
• A visa of the same class is issued to the person accompanying the applicant who received a visa for medical treatment.

Dependents: Dependents are not allowed.

Where to apply: Online/Except for extensions, the visa can be issued at a Rwandan diplomatic mission/Directorate General of Immigration and Emigration for an extension.

The application must be accompanied by a statement from the doctor or manager of the medical facility or clinic where the person is being treated that the treatment is available and that satisfactory arrangements have been made to pay for the treatment.

Travel document: Any genuine and acceptable travel document valid for at least 6 months.

Visa fees: 20 USD

A fee of 10,000 Rwandan francs is required to extend a visa or apply in Rwanda.

Visa validity: 90 days

Single or multiple: Multiple entries

No work allowed.

Status change: Not allowed.

Visa Extension: Visas can be extended for one period up to 90 days. Applicants should contact the Directorate General while the current visa is still valid.

Requirements:

1. One clear color passport-size photo on a white background, recently taken without glasses, cap, and scarfs; (the photo must be attached to the application form with glue. It is not recommended to attach the photo to the application form with a stapler).
2. The questionnaire must be completely filled out
3. A visa application letter addressed to the Director General of Immigration and Emigration
