A student visa to Somalia allows foreign nationals to immigrate to Somalia on a temporary basis to pass a course of study in the country.

A study visa allows holders to live and work (on a limited basis) in Somalia for as long as they need to complete a course of study to help support themselves and any dependents.

There must be the following documents:

• Photocopies of your passport, which must be valid for at least the next 6 months.

• 2 passport-size photos
• Officially approved bank statement for the last 3 months
• A letter of consent from your parents if you are under 18 years old (certified by a notary or court seal).
• An acceptance letter confirming that the applicant has been offered a place on a full-time course at a recognized educational institution must be provided.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate sufficient funds to support themselves in the country.
• It is also necessary to prove that the payment for the training course has been paid.
• It is necessary to take out private health insurance and provide documentary evidence of this.
• The candidate must intend to return to their home country after the study period.
