Education in Tanzania for Eswatini citizenship

This visa is issued to foreigners who wish to come to Tanzania for the purpose of studying. It is issued online while the prospective student is outside Tanzania. Applicant must have an admission from an accredited university, college, or any approved educational institution in Tanzania. Enrollment document and registration document from such institution must be combined into one PDF document and MUST be uploaded online at the time of application.

Note:

• Educational institutions that teach languages ​​do not have the right to issue a visa for a period of 2 years. Applicants who wish to come and study languages ​​can only apply for a 3-month visa.

Student pass

There are two categories of student passes:

Student pass I

Issued to persons studying at approved educational institutions, including children of persons legally residing in the country who have reached the age of majority.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENT PASS I:

• Certificate of registration of educational institution/school
• Certificate of sponsorship/scholarship
• Enrollment certificate
• Enrollment letter
• Instructions for admission

Student pass II

Issued to children of persons legally residing in the country who have not reached the age of majority and have not been entered in the residence permit of their parents, who study in approved educational institutions, including kindergartens, primary and secondary schools and other higher educational institutions. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING A STUDENT PASS II

• Enrollment letter
• Confirmation of sponsorship/scholarship
• Parental consent if the student is under guardianship
• Copy of valid residence permit/tax exemption certificate/passport of parent or guardian
• Birth certificates (child/parents)
• A copy of the parent's passport

Note:

• Language schools do not have the right to issue a pass valid for 2 years. Applicants who wish to come and study languages ​​can only apply for a 3-month visa.
• All copies must be certified.
