Conditions for obtaining a medical visa
A medical visa is valid for a single entry for medical purposes only.
A medical visa is valid for 90 days from the date of its issuance. Travelers must enter Thailand within the specified 90-day period. They will be allowed to stay in Thailand for up to 90 days from the date of entry. During the 90-day period of stay, if they wish to leave and re-enter Thailand, they must apply for a re-entry permit (single or multiple) before departure. If they leave Thailand without a re-entry permit, the current residence permit is considered invalid.
Extension of the stay is at the discretion of the immigration officer. An application for an extension can be submitted at the Immigration Bureau Office (for more information, visit www.immigration.go.th)
If the medical visa holder violates the conditions of entry, the residence permit will be revoked and he/she will be prohibited from entering Thailand in the future.

Childbirth in Thailand
If you are both foreign nationals and your child is born in Thailand, your child will not receive Thai citizenship, residency or any other rights granted to a Thai citizen.
It does not matter if you have a work permit, business visa or any other official document, your child will not receive
Thai citizenship or related rights.
When a child is born in a Thai hospital, the birth certificate will have a certain mark indicating the child's status and the fact that the child does not have Thai citizenship.
A child born to foreign citizens with a permanent place of residence
If a child is born to a spouse of foreign citizens, both with permanent residence, the child will be granted Thai citizenship.
A child born to a foreigner and a Thai citizen
If a child is born to a foreigner and a Thai citizen in Thailand, the child automatically receives Thai citizenship. This status will be indicated on the birth certificate issued by the hospital. After that, the parents can get a Thai passport for the child.
In the event that a Thai citizen is married to a foreigner and lives abroad, the child will be granted Thai citizenship through the Thai father's citizenship. However, this does not happen automatically by descent. To register as a Thai citizen, a child must obtain a Thai birth certificate from the Thai embassy in that country.
