What types of visas are currently available for traveling to Egypt?
1. Electronic visa (eVisa).
1.1. A one-time eVisa is issued for a 30-day stay in the country and is valid for three months (90 days) from the date of issue. The applicant can visit Egypt once during the validity period for both tourist and business purposes;
1.2. Multiple (multi-visa) eVisa is issued for a 30-day stay. Expires six months from the date of issue. The applicant can enter Egypt at any time during this period and stay for up to 30 days. The number of entries and exits during the specified six-month period of validity of the specified visa is unlimited.
It is worth noting that eVisa is only available to citizens who apply for an Egyptian e-Visa in advance (at least 7 days before travel) and is not available as a visa-on-arrival feature.

Exceptions: An Egypt online visa is not required for US, EU or UK visitors traveling to (and staying in) Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba or Taba.
