Haiti visa requirements for international students

- A Student Visa in Haiti allows a foreign national the opportunity to immigrate to Haiti on a temporary basis in order to undertake a course of study in the country. 

- A Study visa allows the holders to live and work (in a restricted manner) in Haiti for as long as they need to complete their course in order to help support themselves and any dependents.

Visa Eligibility

The following criteria must be met.

- A letter of acceptance must be provided demonstrating that an applicant has been offered a place on a full time course of study at a recognised educational institution.

- Candidates must be able to demonstrate evidence of enough funds to support themselves in the country.

- It must be shown that the course fees have been paid in full.

- Private medical insurance must be arranged and documentary evidence of this must be provided.

- It must be the candidate's demonstrable intention to return to their own country at the end of their period of study.

Documents and Requirements

1) Two recent Passport- Sized Photographs 

2) Applicant’s Birth Certificate in English.

3)Applicant’s mark sheets and certificates. 

4) TOFEL and IELTS score certificate whichever is applicable in concerned educational institute

5) Fill in your application for study permit carefully and completely 

6) Type or print clearly, using black ink 

7) Answer all questions carefully, completely and truthfully. Incomplete application packages will not be processed, but will be returned to you. 

8)After the visa office receives your application, it might request more information or documents.

These may include the following: 

a) Medical information: To get medical clearance, you will need to undergo a medical examination. A visa officer will send you instructions if you need a medical examination. This process, if needs to be followed will require a longer processing time  of your application.
