BUSINESS VISA IN MOROCCO
Citizens of some countries are exempted from a visa to Morocco when staying until 90 days. However, all foreigners will need a Moroccan work visa to work in the country legally.
The most popular employment visa is the long-term visa. This type of visa is valid for three months (90 days) and can be issued for single or multiple entries. A long-term visa allows the holder to apply for a residence permit after entering Morocco. If you do not extend your stay in Morocco and do not receive a resident card, you will have to leave after three months, even if you have a long-term visa.
You must have a work permit in Morocco to obtain a work visa.

The process of obtaining a work visa in Morocco
Employees must apply for a Moroccan work visa at a diplomatic mission in their home country. Each country and mission has slightly different application processes, but general steps include:
- Appointment at the consulate or embassy of Morocco
- Filling out the visa application form
- Collection of necessary documents
- Submission of all documents to the embassy or consulate
- Payment of the visa fee
- Waiting for a visa
- Obtaining a visa.
Please note that foreigners are prohibited from working in any jobs in Morocco that Moroccan nationals may occupy. In addition, most foreign employees must have high-level skills that are not usually popular in Morocco, such as speaking a foreign language or having special training.
Employers may need to advertise the job and interview other candidates to prove they cannot find a Moroccan citizen suitable for it.
