Educational visa

There are 2 types of study visas:

1. Visa for educational purposes, which is issued for a period of 2 years.

You can apply for two types of visas online:

1. First time (new): you can apply for a new visa if you do not have a valid Pakistani visa.
2. The extension: you can apply for a visa extension if you have a valid Pakistani visa and reside in Pakistan.

Citizens of the countries listed here have the right to apply for this visa.

Required documents:

• Photo;
• Passport;
• Letter of acceptance for training;
• NOC from HEC / Department of Economic Affairs / IPC/ministry of Health/Ministry of Education;
• For an entry visa: NOC from the relevant government;
• For extended visa: NOC of the relevant embassy in Pakistan Country of study;
• Sponsorship / bank statement in case of Escorts.

Important! You must download the proof of legal residence if you are not in your own country and are applying for a visa from a third country, this is a mandatory requirement! In case of visa renewal – please download the proof of a valid Pakistani visa, and your passport must also have a visa stamp.

2. For the purpose of religious education

Students who meet the criteria can apply for an online visa through the Pakistan online visa system in the Deeni Madaris category. Citizens of the countries listed here are eligible for this visa.

You can apply for a visa online in three subcategories:

1. First visa processing: please make sure that you apply 3 months before the start of the proposed course of study at the registered Deeni Madaris in Pakistan.
2. Extension – extension of the existing course: you can apply for a visa extension if you have a valid Pakistani visa of this category and reside in Pakistan. Please note: the applicant must apply 3 months before the visa expires.
3. Extension - change of course: you can apply for a visa extension if you have a valid Pakistani visa of this category and reside in Pakistan. Please note: the applicant must submit the application 3 months before the visa expires.

Required documents:

• Passport;
• Photo;
• Bonafide letter from Deeni Madaris with course name, start date and expected end date;
• NOC from the applicant's Government Ministry of the Interior/Ministry of foreign affairs (in the case of an entry visa);
• NOC of the relevant applicant embassy in Pakistan (in case of visa extension);
• Sponsorship letter/bank statement (in case of renewal: you must provide your local bank account details in Pakistan).

Duration and validity period - up to 2 years. Renewal is possible, depending on the request.
