After arriving in Fiji
One of the mandatory quarantine requirements that all animals must undergo upon arrival in Fiji is post-entry quarantine.
Post-Entry Quarantine (PEQ) – Subject to all other import conditions being met and all BAF fees being paid, all animals brought into Fiji must undergo a mandatory quarantine period at BAF's PEQ station in Koronivia, Nausori. The mandatory quarantine period allows the BAF to monitor for diseases, symptoms of which may not have been present at the time of the animal's departure or arrival in Fiji. Reservations for accommodation at the PEQ station must be made at least 1 month before the animal's arrival. This can be done by calling the BAF office at +679-3312512 or sending an email to animalimports@baf.com or info@baf.com Animals will be released from PEQ after the minimum quarantine period, provided they remain healthy during quarantine after entry and all post-quarantine inspection fees have been paid.
