Required documents for obtaining a student permit in Fiji

1. Application form - duly filled in and signed

2. Two photos

3. Passport and a copy of the main page

• A copy of the passport of the applicant, spouse, and children
• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return.
• It must also have at least two blank pages.

5. Medical opinion

• Issued within 3 months or less from the date of application

6. Certificate of no criminal record

• For applicants over 18 years of age
• From the country of citizenship/residence

7. Local police report (certificate of no criminal record)

• For applicants of over 18 years of age
• For any international student who has studied for 12 months or more in Fiji

8. Letter of acceptance

• From an educational institution in Fiji

9. A certified copy of the birth certificate

• Letter from a sponsor: locally or abroad from a person or organization financially sponsoring the internship

For research purposes:

• Local police report (clearance certificate), persons over 18: for any international student who has studied for 12 months or more in Fiji
• Acceptance letter: from the local institution where the research will be conducted
• Sponsor letter / Financial report
• A copy of the return ticket (a study conducted for less than twelve months)
• Approval by the Ministry of Education
