Fiji Student Permit
Fiji offers internationally recognized qualifications in its higher education institutions. Fiji's largest higher education institution is the Fiji National University. It is a large college consisting of 33 campuses across the country. The staff has more than 1,800 members and enrollment has exceeded 20,000. This university gives you access to more than 30 programs, including medicine, technology, and agriculture.
Tuition fees in Fiji vary depending on the type of degree a student is seeking. In general, the cost for international students is slightly higher than for students living in Fiji. At the same time, costs are often comparable to education in countries such as the United States or Canada. Many students can apply for scholarships from the schools themselves or from independent organizations. Students can also qualify for reduced rates if they commit to staying in Fiji and working in certain industries.
The Fiji Student Permit applies to those who are enrolled in a college or university, wish to do an internship or research in Fiji.
