When studying abroad, one of the first things you need to determine is whether you need a visa based on your citizenship and time, which is required for the educational process.
International schools can be an ideal solution for expat students (children of multinational corporation managers, diplomats, NGO employees) in Grenada. The local population may study there, but the schools are usually designed for international students. Schools follow the curriculum model from the United States, Great Britain, or France. Schools also provide internationally recognized accreditation. There are only two higher education institutions on the island. The first is T. A. Marryshow Community College, a public college that exists for the development of Grenada and its citizens. The second is St. George's University, a private institution that serves mostly international medical students.
A student visa to Grenada allows a foreign citizen to immigrate to Grenada on a temporary basis in order to complete a course of study in the country.
A study visa allows holders to live and work (on a limited basis) in Grenada for as long as they need to complete the course.
