Visitors to Grenada must obtain a visa at one of Grenada's diplomatic missions or, in some cases, at the United Kingdom's diplomatic missions, unless they are coming from one of the visa-free countries or countries whose citizens can obtain a visa on arrival.
! Citizens of Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America are exempt from having a passport and can file a declaration using a photo ID and one photo ID. However, when leaving the United States, a passport is required in accordance with the rules of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Citizens of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines can move freely when traveling to Grenada.
This means that they have the right to live and work in the country without a visa on a long-term basis.

Cruise ship passengers of all nationalities can visit Grenada for up to 24 hours without a visa.
Transit passengers who don’t leave the airport transit zone are exempt from yellow fever vaccination.
Pet microchip
Grenada doesn’t require you to identify your pet with a microchip, but it is recommended to chip and register contact information in case your pet gets lost.
Vaccinations
Your pet must have proof of current rabies vaccination, which was given no more than 12 months before importation. Grenada doesn’t recognize a 3-year rabies vaccination.
Rabies titer test
No rabies titer test is required to enter Grenada.
Health certificate
A licensed veterinarian must issue a veterinary medical certificate within a few weeks of traveling for confirmation from the USDA or CFIA if they are traveling from the United States or Canada. If you aren’t traveling from any of these countries, the government agency responsible for importing and exporting animals must approve the form.
Import permission
To import your pet into the country, you need an import permit from the general veterinary department of Grenada. The permit must be submitted to the veterinary service at least 2 weeks before importation.
Entry to Grenada by air
Pets must enter Grenada via Maurice Bishop International Airport in St George's Parish. The pet can arrive as checked baggage or as air cargo. You must inform the chief veterinarian in advance of the date and time of your arrival so that they can meet you at the place of entry. All domestic dogs and cats should not show signs of a human-transmitted disease when checked at the airport of entry. If your dog or cat isn’t in good health, further examination by a licensed veterinarian may be required at your expense.
Import and export of national and foreign currencies isn’t restricted.
People who are aged 18 years and older are allowed duty – free import of up to 200 cigarettes, up to 50 cigars or 250 grams of leaf tobacco; alcoholic beverages-no more than 1 liter.
The import of firearms, ammunition, drugs, fruits, vegetables, meat and meat products, as well as plant and soil samples is prohibited.
The import of hunting weapons requires a special permit, which must be obtained from the police in advance.
The import of animals is allowed only if you have a veterinary certificate (good Health Certificate) issued in the country of residence, as well as a license for the import of Animals issued by the Veterinary Service of Grenada.
Yellow fever vaccination is required for passengers who are arriving from areas where the disease is spreading. Children who are under 1 year of age, as well as transit passengers who don’t leave the airport transit zone, are exempt from vaccination.

The permissible blood alcohol level is 0.08%.
Grenada's roads can be paved or unpaved, mostly narrow and winding.
The rainy season lasts from June to November.
Local drivers can be aggressive and overtaking carelessly.
Car rental
Foreign drivers must obtain a local driver's license before renting a car. To obtain a driver's license in Grenada, drivers must apply to the police station with a valid driver's license from their home country. Typically, car rental companies require each driver to have a driver's license for at least one year. There can also be a minimum and maximum age; usually the minimum age is 25 years, and the maximum is 65 years.
